Team 11 - 1 Ricboy

12850 punters turned up at One Eye Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Pedro Smets was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tom Cronkvist and 和昭 (Kazuaki) 佐々木 (Sasaki). The following players had been chosen: Franceschilli - Frauenthaler, Wilmes, Balaz - Leonhardsen, Galdi, Sali, Boyxonov, Bach - Olsen, Gleichheit.

Lineup: Suerra - Del Bolgia, Baldisserotto, Cami, Andreu - Bergianti, Portobello, Venere, Cristina - Bandelli, Faustini.

One Eye Team entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Ricboy, chose to start the game with a 4-4-2 lineup. Team showed off their disastrous creative tactics. The head of Ciro Bergianti connected with a corner kick after 25 minutes, and the ball ended up with Antonio Cami of Ricboy who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 1. Following a foul after 28 minutes, Team got themselves a free kick just outside the penalty area. Sezai Balaz levelled the scoreline - 1 - 1. Uzbek Boyxonov gave Team the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1 39 minutes in, the unpredictable Maximilian Gleichheit of Team turned and curled the ball towards goal, but it flew inches wide of the post, almost taking out a member of the crowd! A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Team's Johan Wilmes increasing the lead to 3 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as Maximilian Gleichheit broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Team. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Team's Karsten Bach somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Jan Olsen, who struck for 5 - 1. With 43 minutes played, Team put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Uzbek Boyxonov, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Ricboy kept trying to force their way through on the right side and Marco Faustini got his chance after 44 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. 6 - 1 was the halftime score. Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.

50 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Jan Olsen broke through, making the score 7 - 1 for Team. Team managed to extend their lead to 8 - 1 when Jan Olsen cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. This third goal completed a hattrick for Jan Olsen. Tomas Frauenthaler wanted to play on, but the Team coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by Gigi Antoldi. Gigi Antoldi was handed the Team captain's armband. The Team free kick 72 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Johan Wilmes, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 9 - 1! Team put themselves up 10 - 1 when Maximilian Gleichheit broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The coach of Team was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, Umberto Mazzuoli came on for Jan Olsen. Johan Wilmes increased the lead for Team to 11 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! By then Johan Wilmes had scored three goals - a hat trick! After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Maurizio Del Bolgia got himself booked. The manager of Ricboy was not happy. The Team players could smell victory in the air. Sezai Balaz wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Lorenzo Vavassori after 89 minutes. As Sezai Balaz left the field, the coach signaled to Johan Wilmes to be the new set pieces taker. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 11 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Team, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

Most important Team player was Umberto Mazzuoli. However, Lorenzo Vavassori made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Ricboy player was without a doubt Guarino Bandelli. Antonio Cami was a disappointment, however.
