Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2295 at Incineradora Arena today. Andrew Howell was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Leen Eerdekens. MataMaus tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Monsaraz - Ferrueros, Maia Oliveira, Teixeira - Oliveira Cabral, Oliveira, Neves, Bueno, Escola - Araújo, Pinto.

SportulTino decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. The following players took the field: Troppmann - Bozdoghină, Hafid - Sechel, Fehér, Nakonechny, Mănăilă, Gavrilescu - Bozgan, Bivolariu, Dragomirescu.

The wings were the focus of most of MataMaus's attacks on this day, taking advantage of their world class level with that tactic. MataMaus created a good opportunity to score 6 minutes into the match when Inácio João Escola's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Costel Sechel almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, Hermenegildo Teixeira scored for MataMaus putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 22 minutes. It was 1 - 0 at the break. MataMaus claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

With 46 minutes played, the SportulTino coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Andor Csépán came on, Petro Nakonechny had to leave the fray. SportulTino needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Romeo Bivolariu made way for Cedric Merenda. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, SportulTino's Dorin Mănăilă was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Anton Azizov was given a chance to change things around. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in MataMaus's Hermenegildo Teixeira increasing the lead to 2 - 0. 53 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Joaquim Araújo broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for MataMaus. With 56 minutes played, Andor Csépán of SportulTino fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 60 minutes, Francisco Bueno put MataMaus ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Florin Bozdoghină's lack of experience almost gave MataMaus a goal after 63 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. SportulTino's right side looked dangerous after 66 minutes, as Marius Bozgan broke through. Paulo Jorge Monsaraz continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Content with how the game was proceeding, the MataMaus coach let Guilherme Martins Campos replace Luís Lourenço Oliveira Cabral after 75 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by MataMaus, with 64 percent of the ball.

The most dominating MataMaus player was without a doubt Francisco Bueno. However, Hermenegildo Teixeira made a disastrous appearance. Most important SportulTino player was Florin Dragomirescu. Cedric Merenda on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
