Clear skies welcomed the 2223 spectators who had made their way to Paraguachoa 2009. Luis Pelayo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Danilo Perronace. Paraguachoa tactics involved an interesting 5-2-3 combination. The following players took the field: Grysiewicz - Iriarte, Kais, Sepúlveda, Montilla, Alaña - López Méndez, Dávila - Cejudo-Alcántara, Salazar, Aquino.

Uruguay started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Fröhlinger - Grant, Uzan, Burg - Kozadaev, Weiss, Shapira, Karpen, Kolesnik - Bigorra, Sagron.

Paraguachoa decided to play creatively at a disastrous level. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 3 minutes into the match, and Nativ Weiss wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 4 minutes, speedy César López Méndez dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, José Luis Salazar failed to score. 6 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Meni Grant finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Uruguay lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Daniel Grysiewicz got a fingertip on Pere Bigorra's shot from the left 30 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Uruguay, with 75 percent of the ball.

77 minutes into the game, Uruguay were awarded a penalty and Golan Uzan was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. A penalty kick was awarded to Paraguachoa 83 minutes into the match, and Adonay Montilla expertly put it away. 1 - 3. Uruguay enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

Paraguachoa's best player was Sergio Cejudo-Alcántara. Ignacio Iriarte on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Uruguay player was without a doubt Nativ Weiss. Alex Fröhlinger was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
