The crowd of 2983 turning up at La Guarida today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Adolfo Sascaró was the appointed referee with assistance provided by George Bush and . Torcida started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: López - Trigo, Benia, Parejo - Valenzuela, Albelda, Pineda, Cayo, Alanes - Gave, Cuell.

rigolos decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Starters: Chappe - Vergé, Welke, Ducasse - Pestre, Abulafia, Ferreira, Mas - Bellot, Cantivalli, Cornu.

Torcida used their magnificent ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Massimo Cantivalli, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Slack defending gave Torcida a chance to take the lead with 22 minutes played, but Iván Albelda's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Torcida had a good opportunity to take the lead as Francisco Gave came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of Bertrand Chappe. With 24 minutes played, Félix Cayo of Torcida fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. rigolos's David Bellot was shown a yellow card after 27 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The terraces were silenced after 30 minutes when rigolos's Matthieu Mas put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Massimo Cantivalli got himself booked. The manager of rigolos was not happy. No matter how hard he tried, Rashid Alanes just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 36 minutes. Massimo Cantivalli received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The rigolos fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Torcida enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

Matthieu Mas left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Pierre Martineau was the replacement. After 72 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Abdallah Abulafia who increased rigolos's lead to 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, rigolos's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Torcida's Cándido Trigo managed a superb strike from the left after 76 minutes that would have left goalkeeper Bertrand Chappe without a chance, had it not hit the post. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 77 minutes, rigolos did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Massimo Cantivalli was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 4. Torcida's Vicente Valenzuela found himself alone on the left side 82 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! rigolos's Steve Pestre had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 83 minutes having been played. Nicolas Bonnefon was the replacement. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Torcida, with 60 percent of the ball.

Félix Cayo performed admirably for Torcida. Ulises López was a disappointment, however. rigolos's best player was Abdallah Abulafia. On the other hand, David Bellot's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
