With the clock showing 38 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of ALOTI resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by Armando Oteiza in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Rin's Per Mogensen had a hard, curved free kick after 39 minutes that would have paid off, had it gone just a little lower. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rin, with 78 percent of the ball.

The coach of ALOTI was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 50 minutes, Pavel Jára came on for Armando Oteiza.
