The crowd of 3129 turning up at Las Chafiras today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Omar Roberto Del Rio and . Descarriados started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Tarantini - Mäkiaho, Lemos, Bo - Ramis, Ballester, Tarantino, Petrele, Franco - Triñanes, Garibaldi.

OldTbilisi tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players took the field: Abramiani - Modenesi, Cancelli, Pagnini - Pieroni, Chelidze, Mårtensson, Pierru - Rueda Vicioso, Durglishvili, Šubrt.

Making his way up the middle 18 minutes into the match, Luis Franco almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Vato Abramiani blocked it to keep the score level. The guests took the lead 36 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in Gonzalo Rueda Vicioso scoring to make it 0 - 1. The crowd roared in delight as Pablo Ballester finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Descarriados 39 minutes into the match. 1 - 1. They were singing the praises of Luis Triñanes 41 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2 - 1 to Descarriados. With 43 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after Gonzalo Rueda Vicioso came through the middle, but his shot went wide. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like Luděk Šubrt. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. When Luis Triñanes was badly injured by a couple of strong tackles after 62 minutes, Descarriados fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. Coming through the middle Bondo Durglishvili almost scored the equaliser for OldTbilisi after 75 minutes, but Juan Bautista Tarantini made an excellent save, tipping the awkward curled shot past the post. Some mind-boggling play by Matías Bo almost resulted in a goal for OldTbilisi, but Rudy Pierru's shot rebounded off the post. Ulises Garibaldi increased the lead for Descarriados to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! OldTbilisi's Fausto Cancelli was shown a yellow card after 83 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Fausto Cancelli was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! The crowd roared its approval when Juan Bautista Tarantini somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by OldTbilisi's Mamia Chelidze 86 minutes into the game, following a good move through the middle. Descarriados claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Most important Descarriados player was Matías Bo. Ulises Garibaldi was a disappointment, however. OldTbilisi's top performer was clearly Gianluca Pieroni. Simone Pagnini on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
